Really pleased with this product, which was a present from my children on father's day. Installation was simple and everything worked first time. I have had the product a coupe of months now and have installed it to its permanent postion once I verified everything was working. Instructions are very good and clear but don't go into enough detail on the various measurements and how they are calculated. Is the measurement averaged over the logging interval or the exact value at the start, middle or end of the period?

The unit itself apppears to work well, BUT the analytical data potential is let down by the very poor software provided, also as noted previously the instructions are very poor without detail on how measurements are achieved!

The product is genally performing well and was easy to set up. The rain gauge agrees very closely with another, installed nearby. The console rainfall total occasionally shows spurious readings which can be reset. The data logs are reliable however, and no false records are shown, after almost 1 week's operation. Export the data to Excel and then you can then analize max, min, average, total etc.
The signal from the transmitter was suddenly lost, 24 hours after the first set up, and it took 2 hours puzzling how to reset. You can't leave the batteries in the console, and the remove and replace the batteries in the transmitter. Always take the batteries out of the console first.
This unit replaces an older touch sreen model and is generally an improvement.
The weakness is in the data sampling rate, and wind speed measurements are affected. Absolute peak gusts are recorded, but you must remember reset the console to find the most recent peaks.
